Apartment Services

Housekeeping

To maintain our cleanliness standards, it is company policy that all rooms are serviced daily. This occurs daily between the hours of 9 am and 12noon.

Baggage Storage

A secure baggage storage area is available by the reception. Please ask our receptionist for access to this facility.

Breakfast and Coffee/ Tea Facilities

Breakfast is available.

Breakfast orders for room service should be placed at Reception by 8 pm the night before. We offer Cooked and Continental options, Meal menus are located at reception.

Coffee & Tea making facilities are provided in all rooms. Should you require additional supplies, please contact reception. Service charges may apply.

Fresh milk is complimentary on arrival. Should you require extra milk this is available from Reception for $2 per carton, or at Countdown (200m) or the BP station (100m) from the motel.

The emergency operator will request which service, Fire, Ambulance or Police you require – please advise Reception of the emergency.

Fire

A detailed fire escape map is located in your room. If evacuation is necessary, please proceed quickly and calmly to the nearest exit and assemble in the carpark, by the Main sign, all guests will be accounted for at this point.

First Aid

A full first aid kit is available at the reception desk.

Earthquake Procedure

In the case of a serious earthquake move to the emergency gathering area identified in the Fire Evacuation notice in the room. If you are unable to do this stand under the nearest doorway until the shockwaves

cease.

Dry Cleaning and Laundry

A guest laundry is available next to reception. For security reasons, the door is often locked. Please see Reception to gain access. Cost is $4.00 per wash, $4.00 per dry, and $1.00 for laundry powder. There is a clothesline next to unit 7 should you wish to dry your clothes outside. An iron and ironing board is in your unit wardrobe. (Unit 4 & 15 this is under your bed) The laundry is open from 8 am-8 pm daily. For security reasons, this may be locked. We are more than happy for you to contact us to have it opened

Payment Options at Motel Apartments

Payment Options

We accept all major credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, Ruralco, and Farmlands at no charge.

Cash payments not secured by a credit card may be asked to pay a cash bond, and ID is required.

Recycling

We are an eco-friendly property. Please separate your bottles, plastic, and paper so that we can forward these items to the appropriate recycling authority

Room Extra's

Blankets

Please look in your cupboards for additional blankets and pillows. For extras, please contact reception.

Datapoint Adaptors

Double Electrical Plugs & Telephone Extension Cords. RJ-11 adaptors, Double Electrical adaptors, and Telephone Extension Cords are available at reception.

Transport information

Airport Details

The nearest airport is 6.8km from 306 Motel Apartments. The easiest way to the airport is to turn left at the gate, and left at lights, go 3kms and turn left into Memorial Ave, which takes you straight to the Airport.

Bus The Yellow Bus takes you to the city and back. The stop to the city is 50 meters to the right of the motel. The bus stop from the city is directly opposite the motel.

Airport Bus

Leaves 150m from the motel, turn left into Ilam Road, and the bus stop is 25m from the corner. The bus runs every 30 minutes.
